Scott & White Healthcare to host Fun Run & Family Festival

Scott & White Healthcare – Round Rock will host its third annual Bat-Stravaganza Fun Run & Family Festival on Saturday, May 1, 2010 from 8:30a.m. to 12p.m.  Run proceeds will benefit Hope Alliance, an organization dedicated to empowering victims of family violence, sexual assault, and other violent crimes through support and advocacy. BEVO, the official mascot of the Texas Longhorns, will also be at the event.

Bat-Stravaganza is a non-competitive, family fun run and walk for all ages and athletic abilities. The Kids’ 1K starts at 8:30 a.m. and the 5K Fun Run starts at 9 a.m.  The 5K will be certified, and chip timing will be available for interested runners.
