The Board of Trustees of Scott & White Healthcare today announced long-time supporters Elizabeth and Drayton McLane Jr. have made the largest gift in the 115-year history of Scott & White to benefit its Children’s Hospital.  In recognition of the gift, the hospital has been named the McLane Children’s Hospital Scott & White.

As natives of Central Texas, the McLanes have long supported the delivery of the right care, in the right place, at the right time.  That commitment, especially on behalf of pediatric patients, has been shaped by personal experiences.

“We made the decision to become an active part in the life of the Children’s Hospital as a family,” said the McLanes. “Our son, Drayton III, his wife Amy, their sons Drayton IV, Brooks and Walker, and our son Denton, and his wife Amy, and their sons Jeff and Jake, have fully embraced this commitment to Children’s Hospital with us.  Click here to see full press release
