Scott & White Healthcare today announced plans to open the hospital bed tower on the Wayne and Eileen Hurd Regional Medical Center Campus by the end of 2014, sooner than recently projected.

“We are pleased that we are able to move forward with the first phase of the hospital bed tower ahead of schedule by almost two years,” said Scott & White President and CEO Robert W. Pryor, M.D. “The accelerated timetable reflects progress on construction to date and responsiveness to community demand for our acute care hospital.”

The campus is near the intersection of U.S. 281 and Texas 71, just south of Marble Falls, Texas.
