KILLEEN, Texas – Baylor Scott & White Health celebrated the opening of its new Killeen West clinic located at 4501 Clear Creek Road. Officials with the City of Killeen held a ribbon-cutting and community open house to mark its relocation from 1002 Wales Drive. As the population continues to grow, the new 14,771 square-foot clinic is built to increase clinic capacity to meet the primary care needs to support the growing population.
“The City of Killeen continues grow and by re-locating to this new location, we can increase access to care with the possibility of expanding services for our patients,” said Michael Reis, MD, chief medical officer, Baylor Scott & White Health – Central Region clinics. “This new clinic will help meet the changing needs for family-centered primary care.”
The clinic features 24 exam rooms and two treatment rooms offering services such as primary care, family medicine including the care of infants and children, women’s health (Ob/Gyn), as well as on-site x-ray and laboratory services.
Michael O. Kirkpatrick, MD, serves as the medical director for the clinic. Other providers in the clinic include Elena Wilson, MD; Everest Whited, MD; Mariam Karamali, PA; Sarah Crider, PA; and Marcela Anderson, NP.
The new clinic was designed by Michael W. Marrs Architects and built by the Structura Incorporated.
